Best Junior Public Speaker of Azerbaijan named [PHOTO]

Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition (APSC) is the platform
that, using international experience, fosters future leaders,
speakers in Azerbaijan.

APSC is a renowned partner of the ESU “The English-Speaking
Union” organization of the Great Britain with over 100 years of
experience. Within the framework of cooperation, the winners are
sent annually to London to participate in an international
competition.

“Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition” which is a partner of
the “The English-Speaking Union” holding the biggest public
speaking competition of the world continues its activities
successfully. On March 16, 2019, the platform having carried out
different several public speaking competitions and educational
projects up to now conducted the Junior Public Speakers
Conference.

The main goal of the conference was to gather the best public
speakers in the country, to give them a chance to express their
ideas and also to introduce the demand of the 21st century –
opportunities of public speaking in different spheres like career,
personal branding and business through panel discussion held with
the participation of the professional, international speakers.

At the conference the 10 public speakers’ speeches on the topic
“The best way to predict the future is to invent it” were accepted
by everybody with interest and evaluated by the jury. The 3 best
public speakers in Azerbaijan were determined:

1st place: Adil Gatarli – Baku Engineering University

2nd place: Vagif Gasimov – Baku-Oxford School

3rd place: Lamiya Huseyn- “Dunya” School

Adil Gafarli, the winner of the competition entitled to
represent Azerbaijan and will visit London on May 13-17, 2019 to
compete with representatives of 54 countries for becoming the best
speaker in the world.

The panel session on “Importance of Public Speaking at Business
and Personal Branding” was also held at the event. The panel
participants were Rashad Bayramov, International Public Speaker,
Tatyana Mikayilova, Chairwoman of “100 Business Women of
Azerbaijan” and Aysel Suleymanova, Head of Marketing and
Communication Department at PwC Azerbaijan Company.

To note that, APSC also cooperates with “Public Speakers
Association” PSA of the USA. The “International Public Speakers”
conference held in different countries of the world every year
brings together corporative employees, company leaders, public
speakers, and business leaders. The persons selected from
Azerbaijan participate at the conference.
